Longkou Jinda Shipping Co., Ltd. manufactures custom aluminum harbor work boats for port authorities, shipyards, marine service providers, and commercial vessel distributors.
This 13.9m aluminum work boat is designed for personnel transfer, port supply, dock inspection, maintenance support, and other routine nearshore operations.
Built with 5083-H116 marine-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy, the vessel features a practical working deck and three cockpit configurations: open, semi-enclosed, and fully enclosed.
Both inboard and outboard propulsion options are available, allowing the vessel to serve different port environments and operational needs.
Applications for Port and Marine Service Operations
Personnel Transfer
The vessel supports crew and authorized personnel transfers within port waters. Seating arrangements and passenger facilities can be configured for port staff, maintenance teams, and service personnel.
Port Supply and Cargo Transport
The working deck accommodates tools, spare parts, maintenance supplies, and other operational cargo. Deck storage and equipment placement can be arranged to support regular port logistics.
Harbor Inspection and Patrol
The vessel provides a working platform for routine inspection of docks, navigation buoys, berths, and port infrastructure. Optional navigation, communication, and surveillance equipment can support inspection and patrol activities.
Marine Maintenance Support
The open working area supports dockside maintenance teams and vessel service personnel. Additional storage, mounting points, and electrical connections can be integrated for maintenance tools and service equipment.
Pilot and Emergency Support
The vessel can be configured for pilot transfer or emergency standby duties when the design, equipment, and applicable survey approvals support those operations. Optional rescue equipment, firefighting systems, and specialized safety facilities can be incorporated into the vessel configuration.

Deck Layout
Functional Deck Arrangement
The deck layout is designed to support personnel movement, cargo handling, equipment installation, and routine maintenance activities. Seating, walkways, storage areas, and helm console placement can be adjusted to make efficient use of the available space.
Storage and Equipment Mounting
Dedicated storage zones can be incorporated for tools, spare parts, and operational supplies. Reinforced mounting points, cable routing, and service access can also be arranged for navigation equipment, communication systems, and mission-specific hardware.
Propulsion and Onboard Equipment
Inboard and Outboard Propulsion
The vessel supports two principal propulsion arrangements. Inboard diesel propulsion offers an integrated engine installation for continuous heavy-duty port work; while outboard propulsion suits shallow-water berths, tight harbour manoeuvring, light shuttle and inspection missions.
Navigation and Communication Systems
Optional equipment includes navigation systems, AIS, marine radios, navigation lights, and other communication devices. We can integrate the selected systems into the wheelhouse and electrical layout to support daily port operations.
Safety and Auxiliary Equipment
Lifesaving equipment, fire protection systems, bilge pumps, and additional safety facilities can be incorporated into the supply package.
Mission-Specific Options
Available options include bow rollers, patrol lighting, rescue equipment, additional cabin fittings, surveillance systems, and specialized deck hardware. Our team can coordinate equipment mounting, electrical connections, and available working space during vessel design.
Customization and OEM/ODM Services
Hull and Cockpit Configuration
We offer open, semi-enclosed, and fully enclosed cockpit arrangements, along with customized seating, storage, working deck layouts, and helm console positions.
Propulsion and Electrical Systems
Customization covers inboard or outboard propulsion, engine selection, electrical power distribution, navigation equipment, and communication systems.
Appearance and Branding
Exterior color, vessel markings, company logos, and other visual details can be customized for fleet identification, commercial branding, and government service applications.
Engineering and Production Process
Our project process includes technical review, configuration development, drawing preparation, quotation, production, factory inspection, and delivery. Manufacturing begins after the technical specification and commercial terms have been confirmed.
Quality Control and Inspection
Hull and Dimensional Inspection
The manufacturing inspection process includes dimensional checks, visual weld inspection, and hull watertightness testing before equipment outfitting. These checks help verify hull construction and assembly quality.
System Function Testing
Onboard equipment and electrical systems undergo functional checks before delivery. Factory acceptance testing can be arranged to evaluate the completed vessel's systems and general operating functions.
Factory Inspection and Survey Support
Our shipyard operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system. CCS factory inspection can be arranged for this model, supporting projects that require an appropriate inspection and survey process.
Technical Documentation
Available documents include general arrangement drawings, vessel specification sheets, material certificates, welding and test records, equipment manuals, and relevant survey documents.
Ordering, Delivery, and Warranty
Minimum Order Quantity
The minimum order quantity is one unit. We support single-vessel procurement as well as larger orders for marine service companies, shipyards, and commercial vessel distributors.
Production Lead Time
The typical production lead time is 60–90 working days for this model. The delivery schedule is confirmed after the technical specification has been finalized, taking into account the selected equipment and production scope.
Shipment
The vessel can be prepared for bulk sea freight, with protective packaging for exposed fittings and other vulnerable components.
Warranty Coverage
Our standard warranty terms cover the aluminum hull structure for two years from delivery, mechanical moving parts for one year, electrical systems for one year, and fittings and auxiliary accessories for six months. Main engines, auxiliary engines, and imported equipment follow the original manufacturer's warranty terms.
