Quality & Inspection
Material Verification & Traceability
Hull structures, pontoon floats and deck frames use 5083-H116 marine-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy.
Material records can include mill test certificates (MTCs), heat numbers, test results and incoming inspection reports, according to the agreed documentation scope.
Welding Inspection
Qualified welders perform structural aluminum welding in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.
Welds undergo visual inspection for cracks, porosity and visible defects. Penetrant testing is performed on designated critical joints when specified, with inspection records retained for traceability.
Pontoon Tightness Testing
Each pontoon is tested for tightness before deck assembly. Test methods, conditions, holding periods and acceptance criteria follow the documented procedure, with reports and photographs available for the vessel's quality file.
Dimensional & Assembly Inspection
Key dimensions are checked against approved drawings, including hull length, beam, depth, pontoon spacing and transom mounting dimensions.
Deck framing, handrails, helm alignment, bolted connections and corrosion-protection measures are also inspected.
Equipment Installation & On-Water Trials
The engine mounting system, fuel tank, electrical wiring, navigation lights, seating and specified equipment are checked against the approved configuration.
Applicable checks cover fuel tank tightness, engine operation, steering, turning performance, drainage and safety fittings. On-water trials take place in suitable sheltered waters, with records prepared against agreed acceptance criteria.
Final Inspection & Documentation
Before shipment, the boat is inspected for hull condition, weld quality, test records, equipment installation, paint finish and safety fittings.
The handover package may include material traceability records, welding and inspection reports, tightness and dimensional test reports, trial records, equipment lists and factory acceptance records.
Certification & Documentation
CCS, BV, ABS, LR and CE-related certification or assessment can be discussed based on vessel configuration, intended use and destination-market requirements. Applicability and availability must be confirmed before ordering.
