Stern Trawling System & Deck Equipment

Standard Stern Trawling Configuration
The standard configuration includes an integrated stern ramp for net deployment and recovery, an open working deck for net handling, one 12-tonne hydraulic trawl winch and a basic hydraulic power pack.
A wheelhouse control panel allows the operator to control the winch during fishing operations.
Optional Deck Machinery
The trawling system can be upgraded with a 16-tonne hydraulic winch, net roller, stern gantry, stern davit or wireless remote winch control. Separate hydraulic circuits are also available for vessels operating multiple types of fishing equipment.
Custom Trawling Systems
For specialized fishing operations, Jinda Ship can develop dual-winch arrangements for double-rig trawling, reinforced stern structures, customized ramp angles and extended working decks. Automated net-hauling systems can also be incorporated into the design.

Fish Hold & Catch Handling

Standard Fish Storage
The base model includes one insulated fish hold with a geometric volume of 22 m³, basic seawater drainage, a dedicated catch-sorting area on the aft deck, and bilge and washdown piping. The fish hold layout is designed to support routine catch handling during commercial fishing trips.
Optional Storage & Preservation Systems
Available upgrades include a chilled fish hold with seawater refrigeration, an independent live fish tank with circulating water supply, a quick-freeze compartment and additional insulated bulkheads for separating different catches.
Custom Catch Handling Layouts
For specialized fishing operations, the fish hold can be enlarged and the internal layout revised. Additional options include onboard fish-processing space for gutting and filleting, as well as cold storage designed for temperatures down to -18°C.
Information for Layout Planning
To develop a suitable catch-handling arrangement, buyers should provide their target fish species, expected catch volume per trip, typical trip duration, preferred storage method-chilled, frozen or live-and any equipment required for onboard catch processing.

Hull Construction & Welding

5083-H116 Marine Aluminum Hull
The hull is constructed from 5083-H116 marine-grade aluminum alloy. Aluminum plates are supplied with mill test certificates (MTCs) to support material traceability and verification.
Welding Process & Structural Workmanship
Hull welding is carried out by qualified aluminum welders using KEMPPI and Fronius welding systems. Welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welder qualification records are maintained to support production documentation and technical review.
Key structural joints are subject to non-destructive testing (NDT) as specified for the project. Corrosion protection includes suitable coating systems and isolation details for marine service. Inspection hatches and maintenance access points are incorporated into the design where required.

Quality Inspection & Sea Trials

Material & Welding Inspection
Material documentation is checked against the specified aluminum grade, and welding records are maintained during fabrication. Critical structural joints undergo NDT inspection, with applicable inspection reports included in the vessel documentation package.
Machinery & Onshore Commissioning
Before launch, the factory carries out onshore machinery commissioning and checks the installation of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Fuel, piping and deck equipment are inspected as part of the pre-delivery process.
Sea Trial & Final Acceptance
The completed vessel undergoes a sea trial covering speed, towing performance, fuel consumption and the operation of onboard systems. The final acceptance process includes an outfitting inspection and handover of the agreed technical documents.
Buyers can review inspection milestones throughout production, including raw material verification, welding inspection, machinery commissioning and sea-trial testing.

Standard Equipment & Customization Options

Standard Vessel Package
The standard quotation includes 5083-H116 aluminum hull construction, qualified welding and NDT for critical joints, a 260 kW inboard main engine, a fixed-pitch propeller system and one 12-tonne hydraulic trawl winch with a basic hydraulic power pack.
The package also includes one insulated fish hold with basic drainage, an enclosed wheelhouse, standard crew cabins, bilge and washdown systems, navigation lights, basic safety equipment such as lifebuoys and fire extinguishers, hull painting, general outfitting and onshore machinery commissioning.
Optional Equipment
Optional equipment is quoted separately and can be selected to match the intended fishing operation. Available items include a 16-tonne winch, wireless winch control, stern gantry, net roller, refrigeration system, live fish tank, quick-freeze compartment and upgraded navigation electronics such as GPS, AIS, fish finder and VHF radio. Liferafts and additional lifesaving appliances are also available.
Custom Engineering & OEM/ODM
For projects requiring more extensive modifications, Jinda Ship can develop dual-winch double-rig systems, reinforced stern structures, enlarged fish holds, onboard fish-processing spaces and specialized classification survey packages.

Certifications

Company Qualifications
Jinda Ship's company credentials include ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification and High-Tech Enterprise status. The company also maintains memberships with the China Shipbuilding Industry Association and the Shandong Fisheries Vessel Association.
Vessel-Specific Inspection & Classification
Classification and survey services can be arranged upon request through CCS, ZC, ZY, BV or ABS. The scope and outcome of vessel-specific inspection are established for each project.
CE-related compliance can also be assessed for applicable markets.

Warranty & After-Sales Support

Hull Structure
The aluminum hull structure is covered by a two-year manufacturer's warranty from vessel delivery. Coverage applies to confirmed defects originating from welding and fabrication work.
Mechanical, Electrical & Deck Equipment
Factory-fitted moving mechanical components are covered for one year, electrical wiring and control systems for one year, and deck fittings and small hardware for six months.
Main engines, auxiliary engines and imported equipment follow their original manufacturers' warranty policies. Jinda Ship provides the relevant OEM documentation to support warranty claims and after-sales service.
Warranty Exclusions & Claims
