Interception Speed & Range
The baseline propulsion system uses three 300 hp outboard engines, with a design maximum speed of 45–50 knots and an economical cruising speed of 28 knots. The stated design range is 220 nautical miles at 28 knots.
Deck Layout & Customization
The standard deck layout is designed for coastal patrol, vessel inspection and interception operations. It includes a wheelhouse control station, open aft working deck, bow approach area, built-in storage lockers and crew seating.
The layout can be customized with reinforced rubbing strakes, dedicated boarding platforms, equipment mounting points and rescue ramps. Final General Arrangement (GA) drawings are submitted for buyer approval before production.
Key configuration options include:
Boarding & Inspection Access: Side boarding height and fender reinforcement can be configured to suit alongside vessel inspections and personnel transfer.
Crew Safety: Anti-slip deck surfaces, continuous handrails and designated escape routes support safe movement during operations.
Equipment Storage: Standard lockers accommodate radios and personal protective equipment. Dedicated mounting racks for searchlights and thermal cameras are available as options.
Wheelhouse Layout: The wheelhouse can be arranged to provide 360° visibility, with an ergonomically configured console to suit the selected navigation and surveillance equipment.
For fleet operators, distributors and government project contractors, deck layouts and equipment specifications can be standardized across multiple vessels to simplify procurement, crew familiarization and equipment replacement.
Navigation, Communication & Surveillance
Navigation, communication and surveillance equipment is configurable and quoted separately according to the project specification. Jinda can integrate buyer-supplied or buyer-nominated equipment, including wiring, console installation and functional testing, subject to compatibility and agreed supply scope.
Available options include:
Navigation: GNSS/GPS receiver, AIS transponder, marine radar and ECDIS chart display.
Communication: Marine VHF radio, shore-link radio, intercom and encrypted communication equipment.
Surveillance & Lighting: CCTV recording system, thermal imaging camera, vessel monitoring system and remote-controlled searchlights.
Wheelhouse Equipment: Integrated control console, alarm and monitoring panel, and optional cabin air conditioning.
Hull Construction & Safety
Marine-Grade Aluminum Hull
Built with 5083-H116 marine-grade aluminum alloy in a Deep-V configuration, the hull is designed for demanding patrol and interception duties.
Reinforcement for Operational Demands
Bow and side-shell reinforcement can be specified for repeated alongside contact, vessel interception and boarding operations.
Configurable Safety & Equipment Integration
Standard safety features include anti-slip deck surfaces, guard rails and equipment lashing points. Optional reinforced rubbing strakes and dedicated mounting points allow the vessel to be configured for different mission equipment and operational requirements.
Ballistic or blast protection can also be considered as a project-specific option.
Mission Packages & Configurations
Routine Police Patrol: The baseline hull and triple-engine propulsion can be configured with VHF radio, AIS and standard storage for routine patrol duties. Electronic equipment is confirmed in the final quotation.
Coastal Long-Duration Patrol: This configuration can include increased fuel capacity, long-range radar, thermal surveillance and redundant communications for extended coastal operations.
Port Security: The layout can prioritize low-speed manoeuvrability, high-power searchlights and efficient deck access for security operations in confined port areas.
Maritime Interception: Options include reinforced rubbing strakes, a mission-specific steering arrangement and dedicated boarding access to support interception operations.
Rescue Support: The vessel can be equipped with a rescue davit, recovery ramp, first-aid station and additional storage for safety equipment.
Certification, Documentation & Inspection
Certification & Survey Requirements
Jinda holds ISO 9001 certification and CCS shipbuilding approval.
Jinda supports third-party inspections and statutory surveys required by the buyer, flag administration, classification society or tender authority. Buyers should confirm applicable standards and certification requirements before ordering. Vessel-specific class surveys and statutory certification are quoted separately.
Technical Documentation
With Quotation: Product datasheet, General Arrangement (GA) drawing, preliminary equipment list and available company qualification documents.
After Contract & Design Approval: Structural drawings, welding procedure specifications (WPS), welder qualification records, material certificates, wiring and piping schematics, and stability documentation as agreed.
Before Delivery: Factory inspection records, signed sea trial report, equipment test certificates and applicable class or statutory certificates included in the contract.
The final document list and delivery schedule are confirmed in the contract.
Quality Control & Independent Inspection
Quality checks cover incoming materials, cutting, hull assembly, welding inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT), equipment installation, functional testing and sea trials.
Buyers may appoint an independent surveyor to witness agreed inspection stages. Inspection checkpoints, reporting requirements and survey costs are confirmed before production.
Project Workflow
Requirement Alignment: We confirm the intended operating area, mission profile, technical specifications, acceptance criteria and certification requirements with the buyer.
Design & Approval: We prepare the GA drawings, structural drawings and relevant load calculations for buyer review and written approval.
Contract Confirmation: We finalize the price, payment schedule, inspection milestones, Incoterms, warranty terms and delivery provisions before production begins.
Construction & Inspection: The vessel proceeds through the agreed production stages, with inspections performed at designated checkpoints and identified non-conformities addressed before the relevant stage is accepted.
Testing & Sea Trials: We conduct functional tests and arrange witnessed sea trials in accordance with the agreed acceptance criteria.
Acceptance & Handover: After successful completion of the contracted tests and inspections, the vessel is formally accepted and the agreed documentation package is handed over.
Export & Shipment: We complete the required export clearance procedures and arrange shipment under the agreed delivery terms.
Commercial Terms & After-Sales Support
Quotation Validity: 30 calendar days.
Payment Schedule: The standard negotiable schedule is 30% deposit, 40% upon hull launch and welding acceptance, 20% after sea trials and 10% before dispatch.
Warranty: 12 months from handover acceptance. Coverage includes hull aluminum welding and Jinda-installed outfitting workmanship. Engines, radar, cameras and other OEM electronics are covered by the respective manufacturers' warranty terms, with service coordination provided by Jinda.
Technical Support: English-language engineering support is available during working hours, with limited emergency remote guidance outside those hours. On-site service is quoted separately.
