Hull Design and Aluminum Construction
5083-H116 Marine Aluminum Hull
The boat uses 5083-H116 aluminum alloy for its seawater corrosion resistance, weldability and suitability for marine structures. Compared with conventional steel construction, aluminum can reduce structural weight and routine corrosion-maintenance requirements.
The deep-V hull is designed to provide a balanced combination of directional stability, manoeuvrability and ride comfort for coastal fishing and moderate offshore trips.
Hull Structure and Plate Thickness
The standard hull structure incorporates the following principal features:
|
Structural Component |
Standard Specification |
|
Bottom Plate |
8 mm |
|
Side Plate |
6 mm |
|
Internal Structure |
Transverse frames and longitudinal stringers |
|
Hull Construction |
All-welded aluminum structure |
The principal dimensions, hull geometry and primary structural scantlings are fixed for the standard 14.8 m design. We can customize the bulwark height, helm console, tank arrangement, deck superstructure and outfitting layout following engineering review.
Engineering and Equipment Integration
Our engineering team coordinates the hull structure with the propulsion system, fuel tanks, fishing equipment, cabin arrangement and onboard electrical systems. This integrated approach supports practical equipment installation while maintaining the intended vessel weight distribution and stability.
Fishing Deck Layout and Catch Handling
Standard Fishing Deck
The open aft deck offers working space for anglers and crew, with dedicated zones for fishing gear and catch handling.
Its standard fitout includes a non-slip open aft fishing deck, integrated insulated fish hold, deck washdown plumbing, pre-installed mounting points for rod holders and lockable dry-storage compartments, and the deck layout can be tailored to match charter group size, fishing activities and onboard storage requirements.
Optional Fishing Equipment

Configuration for Different Buyers
Charter operators: We can arrange fishing stations, seating and storage to support efficient guest movement and turnaround between trips.
Fishing and tourism operators: Protected passenger seating can be separated from active fishing areas to accommodate mixed sightseeing and fishing activities.
Fleet buyers and distributors: Standardized deck fittings and equipment mounting locations can simplify outfitting, maintenance and spare-parts management across multiple vessels.
Propulsion, Fuel Capacity and Operating Range
Twin-Outboard Engine Options
The standard propulsion arrangement uses twin outboard engines. We support Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki engine options, with twin 250 hp, twin 300 hp and twin 350 hp configurations available for evaluation.
Engines can be supplied by Jinda Shipyard or purchased directly by the buyer. Our team can coordinate engine selection with hull performance, expected loading, operating speed and fuel capacity.
Factory-supplied engines are covered by the applicable original equipment manufacturer's warranty.
